  • 3 Peaks. Ben Nevis started @ 4.45pm and completed in 4 hours 22 mins. Now on our way to Scarfell Pike.

Sperry 1899 Electric car - London to Brighton Run 5 Nov 2006

The car finished the London to Brighton run with a gasp and a time of 2 hours 56 minutes.

That doesnt reflect the day which started with a concours at 6.30 am in Hyde Park and finished at 4.15 pm on Marine Parade, Brighton.

The run involved four battery changes of strings 4 x 12v Odyssey PC1700 blocks and two official towing points.

The car is now back home in Ireland for some repairs to the wheel spokes before its next outing.
