Welcome to Northern Industrial Battery Services Ltd

We are an ISO 9001:2000 certified company providing service to:

• The power generation industry, nuclear, gas and coal
• Banking and Financial Services
• Petrochemical sector including offshore
• The Ministry of Defence

Our activities range through supply, installation, commissioning, maintenance, inspection, all aspects of testing and site decommissioning for Batteries, Chargers and UPS. We also provide a battery and battery room accessories supply service.

The above activities are supported by risk assessment, method statements and when required a safe system of work statement. Specialist battery activities are also under taken for example;

• ‘Tear downs’ with a detailed report
• Design and installation of specialised battery test facilities to meet military requirements

The company has a very competent and well-trained workforce. All engineers have COSHH, Manual Handling and Client/Contractor National Safety Group Safety Passport training. Additionally all are first aid qualified and are designated ‘Classified Worker’.
